ACE for Wildlife® Network • October 2024

This resource is a recording for our 2024 annual October All-Network meeting! Topics covered include:

Learning Agenda Session: In this session, Network members shape the areas of inquiry and help identify knowledge gaps, with regards to empathy for wildlife, that the Network should investigate over the next five years. The outcomes of this session will determine future partnerships with academics and other knowledge leaders.

Network Showcase – Evaluation: From the Grind to the Grid, Isabelle Bieser & Shanna Hillard (Zoological Society of Milwaukee): This session reviewed the evaluation strategy focusing on aligning the evaluation process with the intended outcomes and how we determined effective methods for measuring success. This presentation details the methodology used to connect specific outcomes to the corresponding evaluation methods, offering insights into the effectiveness of the approach.

Communications Toolkit & Primer presentation with Team Soapbox: To support communications needs related to how you can talk about the ACE for Wildlife Network, we’ve developed a toolkit that can be accessed and used by anyone who participates in the Network. Team Soapbox, who developed these resources with the Advancing Empathy Team, will share how you can find and best utilize these key resources.
