This resource was funded by the Advancing Empathy Grant Program.

Zoo Boise presents on their project, “Empathy Driven Construction Documents for New Red Panda Exhibit.” In collaboration with zoo architecture firm GLMV, they produced empathy-driven construction documents for the new red panda exhibit. (1:30-28:45). Next, they presented their “Fostering Empathy for Wildlife through Signage and Phase 1A Interpretative Plan,” which helped to foster empathy for wildlife with updated signage in existing exhibits and an interpretative plan for the construction of new exhibits in Phase 1A of their master plan. (28:47-39:53).
