Example Empathy-Informed Interaction: Rhino Interpretation

These videos and accompanying script, used by Woodland Park Zoo in some of their first empathy trainings, show what a brief interaction with a guest can look like when effective empathy practices are utilized (or not). Both interactions deal with the same guest questions and topics. These videos were developed for the purposes of training staff and volunteers on using effective empathy practices to show the difference they can have on a short interaction with a guest.
