Empathy Informed Recommendations for Discussing Carnivore Conservation includes research-informed recommendations for practitioners following a discussion of three societal and cultural narratives in North America that have informed historical and modern perceptions of carnivores. It’s Not About the Animal: Three Sociocultural Meanings of Carnivores Throughout American History contains more context for each of the themes highlighted, reflection questions for each theme, research-informed recommendations, and recommended readings for those wishing to learn more from primary sources.
