Zoo Boise presents their project “Designing Exhibits & Revising Visitor Experiences to Foster Empathy for Wildlife.” This project produced empathy-driven concept designs for new exhibits in Phase I of Zoo Boise’s master plan and interpretive guides for zoo chats and visitor experiences that foster empathy for wildlife (0:47-27:50). Henry Vilas Zoo presents their project, “Building Capacity for Empathy through Interpretive Master Planning,” a project that created a strategic framework that infuses empathy best practices throughout the interpretive processes (27:50-48:10).
