Learning Group: Introduction to Empathy Evaluation

This event is from 1:00 pm to 2:15 pm PT on May 13, 2024.

You don’t need to be an expert in evaluation to successfully evaluate empathy practices. In this learning group, facilitated by Theo Bamberger, Evaluation Specialist at Woodland Park Zoo, evaluators across out Network will discuss different approaches to evaluation empathy practices, share examples and findings from evaluations they’ve conducted, and speak to the future of empathy evaluation and their organizations. Ryann Stacy from the Racine Zoo, Mary Jackson from Woodland Park Zoo, and Shanna Hillard and Kathyrn Neville from the Zoological Society of Milwaukee/Milwaukee County Zoo will be presenting. After their presentations, each presenter will facilitate a small breakout room for Q&A and discussions with attendees. This event is not just for evaluators! We encourage anyone interested in learning about evaluating empathy practices attend this event.
