Empathy Training Toolkit (2025)

This first edition of this toolkit was shared in 2023 to address one of the Network’s Strategic Learning Questions; “how are we sustainably promoting empathy for animals and people within and across our organizations?”. This third edition of the toolkit includes examples and resources from more Partner Organizations and clearer defined sections. We hope that this toolkit helps staff at our Network Partner Organizations develop and implement effective empathy trainings and instill a culture of empathy at their zoos/aquariums.
