This resource was funded by the Advancing Empathy Grant Program.

Zoological Society of Milwaukee present on their grant project: “Distance Learning: Deepening Empathy for World’s Oceans and Great Lakes through Peer-Peer Relationships.” This project built a partnership that enhanced science learning and perspective-taking for grade 4 students by collaborating on curriculum for distance learning experiences and developing connections between Oceans and Great Lakes which fostered empathy for the people and animals in those places.
